Innovating a Teach-Back Model for Community Health Workers Led Health Literacy Practice to Improve COVID-19 Health Equity

Plain Language Summary: We partnered with CHWs to increase understanding and use of HL practices (Teach Back and plain language) to spread COVID-19 education and vaccine information equally across the diverse populations in Albuquerque, New Mexico. CHWs re-framed HL tools as a means of empowering their communities to have clear access to important health care information.
