Welcome to Community Engaged Translational Research (CETR) searchable reference database

Respectful community engagement in all phases of a research project makes translational research more relevant, ethical, and impactful, ensuring that scientific discoveries move beyond the lab and truly improve the health outcomes of all Americans.

Project Respect is pleased to bring to you this respectful community engaged research reference database. The topics in this database were chosen based on the feedback from both researchers and our community partners. We strive to keep this searchable database up to date and relevant.

Additionally, Project Respect hosts the Community Engaged Translational Research (CETR) mini-fellowship to train health professionals on the key principles of community partnered research to advance the following:

  1. Increase the relevance and real-world fit of translational research
  2. Increase the public’s trust in research through transparency and mutual respect
